Ok, I am getting *WAY* into the whole "my husband is figure skating with me!" thing.

I recently found some ridiculous neon tie-dye print spandex, and decided to make us some matching practice gear.

A neon tie dye skating dress and tights on a work table.

A middle aged man wearing a neon tie dye print spandex top and matching skating pans.

A middle aged couple in bright neon tie-dye skating costumes smiling at each other with a rink in the background.

Yeah, I know, we're gross. LOL.

I love what a good sport he is about this. I have an absolutely ridiculous aesthetic when it comes to practice dresses, and he's 100% down for wearing whatever tacky nonsense I come up with!

I married well!

Next up: A set made from fabric that was CLEARLY inspired by roller rink carpet!

A mens skating bodyshit made from obnoxious neon colours.

Hey, I'm Marie!

I skated as a kid, and have been making the long, rough road back as an adult.

This time, I have a husband to drag along with me :)

I started back in early 2019, and ran into dual roadblocks in 2020 - the pandemic, and being severely crippled by FOUR PILLS of Ciprofloxacin - an antibiotic that destroyed most of the tendons in both of my feet.

Oh, and pancreatic cancer. Fun stuff.

I've learned to walk again, and in October 2021, I started back. Again.

Here's where I'll chronicle the whole mess!
