Well, that was sort of a little step forward – finally got out on the ice!
Did a local public skating session, managed 6 laps before I figured I should call it.
I have a pair of Jackson Mystique skates. I bought them back in Minneapolis, the last time I thought maybe I could go back to skating (right before gout!).
They were all they had in stock in my size, they didn’t seem super interested in ordering any in. Kinda regretting the purchase now, they’re …uh.. not going to hold me for long.
Also I’m pretty sure they’re not sized well. My feet HURT in ways that I really don’t think they should have been.
Anyway.
Going to a figure skating session (one that doesn’t allow jumps? What?) on Friday though!
