Hubby has been taking good care of me as I've been laid up on the couch with the injury/Cipro poisoning, including bringing me my bcaa supplement every morning.

A martini glass of a green liquid being held up.

This is how he presented it this morning, LOL. (The BCAA is "green frog" flavoured. The whole line - Revolution Nutrition brand -is modeled after popular candy flavours. LOVE IT)

I haven't spoken much about the giant, terrifying ordeal I've been going through since being "floxed"

two bare feet, the left one is red and swollen.

Who ever heard of an antibiotic being able to do THIS to a foot?!

... But please, be careful with antibiotics.

The entire class of antibiotic that Cipro belongs to has serious warnings against it, and has been devastating to many who have been prescribed it.

I should NEVER have been prescribed that drug, it's supposed to be only for in dire situations like anthrax and the plague!

Read up and stay safe!

Hey, I'm Marie!

I skated as a kid, and have been making the long, rough road back as an adult.

This time, I have a husband to drag along with me :)

I started back in early 2019, and ran into dual roadblocks in 2020 - the pandemic, and being severely crippled by FOUR PILLS of Ciprofloxacin - an antibiotic that destroyed most of the tendons in both of my feet.

Oh, and pancreatic cancer. Fun stuff.

I've learned to walk again, and in October 2021, I started back. Again.

Here's where I'll chronicle the whole mess!
